So, you got yourself a spiffy camera and now you fancy yourself to be a real pro-fess-i-o-nal photographer, eh? That's great!  Let's take some family portraits, shall we?

Get everybody together now...that's right...squeeze together now, we don't know if this 50mm is going to be wide enough:

Okay, that's nice.  Let's try a different pose.  Maybe you could kick off your shoes real casual-like and stand on that window ledge over there.  Now give Husband the remote since you'll be holding the baby this time:

Alright Husband, remember to count to three before you hit the button, okay?
Maybe you better just go inside and make lunch.


Okay, lets take some pictures of just the kids now!  Everybody just stand by that brick wall there and look cute!  Ready...and...CHEESE!

Well, maybe I could have been a little more clear with those directions.  Baby, sit.  Hannah, sit behind Baby and prevent her from eating grass.  Sam, sit beside Baby and smile.  Josh sit still...come back here....sit...SIT!

That's looking okay.
Baby, DO NOT EAT THE GRASS.

But leave Baby.  There's now way you can ever go wrong with baby pictures.  Even if you are a complete camera illiterate, a baby will make any picture cute and adorable and wonderful and....

I did NOT

Today I did not wash the dishes...

Nor did I fold the ever-growing pile of clean clothes...

I did not even finish laying rocks in the front flowerbed.

*sigh*

I did, however, play king of the mountain with Josh...

and giggle with Lu.

I even read a good book and talked with a friend.

*happy sigh*

I wasn't very useful, but like to think today was a good day, anyway.

Oh Yeah! I have a Blog!

Three months, people.  THREE MONTHS and no blogging.  This is what happens when you get an iPhone and realize you can check facebook while driving changing a diaper going potty rocking the baby to sleep.

What happened?  Where have we been? What have we been doing?

Well.  Let me 'splain.
(pause)
No, there is too much. Let me sum-up.

I cuddle the babies.  This is what I do when they are happy.  Also it is what I do when they are sad.  And when they want to play.  And when they want to watch TV.  And when they are sleepy.  And when they just woke up.  It makes me a happy little momma.

And it is much better than getting up and finding this:

This is the day I wanted to kill my boys, but didn't.  I am very proud of myself for letting them live.

Josh is learning how to play the uke.  So cute it makes me wanna pUKE!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

 But seriously now.  I have a concern.  You see, this is baby Hannah:

She had just had her first haircut, she just learned to sit up, and she still only has two teeth.

This is Hannah now:

OH MY CHILD WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?!?!

So if  this is Lucy now,

then....the future.....
