We have a compromise in our house: It is permitted to jump on Hannah's bed. It's old and sturdy, and kids have just got to jump on beds. Of course, you can't jump on mom and dad's bed, you can't fly off the couch, and you can't hop on pop.Every kid that comes to our house thinks this is the coolest thing ever ever ever ever. And it's totally safe, because well, let's face it: Hannah usually has a layer of padding about a foot thick on the floor made from stuffed animals.

ReplyDeleteIt was a sad day when we got new beds. They used to jump from one bed to the other. Man, I miss that old bed!
